Home Day 2
During day two, you will begin building your Flash website. You will start by drawing all of the different elements to your website's homepage. Every element is placed on its own layer in the timeline. Right now, you aren't creating animation. You are designing and creating the layout and look of your site.
Red1.FLA
- Flash Project = 775 x 600
- Buttons and Logo header were drawn using the Primitive Rectangle Tool
- Text in logo was created and then the "Break Apart" command used so that text could be reshaped and edited.
- Guides and Align panel were utilized to design and layout page.
- Image was created in PhotoShop and imported to Stage.
- Textboxes are created.

Red2.FLA
- Button Symbols are created
- Logo is converted into a MovieClip Symbol
- New layers are created and items are cut then Pasted in Place so that items that need to be animated in are on their own layer.

Red3.FLA
- [Note: Some Colors were changed in this Flash file from the previous one]
- The homepage is animated in using motion tweening
- The header is animated in using motion tweening and masking
- The photograph is animated in using motion tweening and "alpha" transparency
- Because only one symbol or object can be on a layer with a motion tween, all buttons were placed on their own layer.
- An actions layer was created with a simple stop(); action
- Site is tested using Control > Test Movie
