I am currently an Instructional Designer in the Educational Technology Department of Spring Branch ISD. With 20 years of experience in education, I have also been a teacher of Technology Applications and Visual Arts. I have my Master Technology Teacher certification and Technology Applications certification for the state of Texas. My approach to technology applications goes beyond basic instruction in software skills to focus on higher-level organizational and artistic problem solving. By integrating the elements and principles of design, visual composition, and the appropriate use of digital graphics into the development of software skills, the student is empowered to solve real-world problems, regardless of the software employed.
